- Paste a Monero address or scan the QR code from your wallet.
- Confirm the address by signing a one-line message in your wallet.
- Your first payment arrives on the next 1st of the month.
Fees
- Enrolment: free.
- Changing your wallet address: free, takes effect the following month.
- Network fees are paid by the Treasury, not deducted from your payment.
Rules
- Payments go out on the 1st of each month and confirm within the hour.
- One wallet per resident. You can change it at any time.
- The Treasury holds only your public address and never a view key. Payment amounts are published in aggregate on Open data.
Questions
Why Monero?
Your income is your business. Monero lets the Treasury pay you without anyone else seeing your balance or history.
Which wallets work?
Any wallet that gives you a Monero address, including mobile wallets. Give a subaddress if you would rather not share your primary address.
I missed a payment. What do I do?
Check the address on file first. If it is correct, report the missing month from your account page and the Treasury re-sends it within 3 crust days.
